This photograph shows a group gathered at the Tiberias Hot Springs in 1933, a place that drew locals and visitors long before modern tourism.

From right to left: Molik Emmanuel, Ora (a kindergarten teacher), Sister Jania Leizerowitz, Herman Wolf seated at the center (owner of the beach café), Shulamit (Molik’s sister) in front, and Yehoshua Duchin from Kinneret, who later received farmland in Yavne’el and became a member of Afikim. One person remains unidentified.

More than a simple group portrait, the image offers a glimpse into everyday life in the Jordan Valley during the British Mandate period, leisure, community, and the people who shaped the region’s early local history.
