Girafot

Girafot (Hebrew: ג'ירפות, translating to "Giraffes") is one of Israel's most unique, enduring, and influential alternative rock bands.

Formed in 1992 by Gilad Kahana (vocals, frontman) and Yair Kass (bass) while they were serving in the IDF, the band is widely celebrated for its eclectic mix of addictive grooves, surrealistic lyrics, and wildly theatrical live performances.

They released 5 albums and many singles, and they received many music awards.

In 2021 they released a single called Hagal Ole (The Wave Rises).

You can watch, via this link, the video clip of their famous song called 'Mi Shelo Holem, Koess' (the one who doesn't dream is angry).

On this YouTube link is another song called 'Ein Knissah Lepilim' (No Entrance for Elephants).

Some of their songs are available on our Spotify playlist (Modern Songs).
